Meet, Kimberly McGuire

The lure of creativity has compelled me through life. I crave the satisfaction of solving problems, contributing wherever I can, and creating new things. After earning a degree in industrial design, my career began in graphic design, creating marketing collateral for a Fortune 500 company. As I evolved–training in digital media design (websites, apps, social media), advertising and exhibit design–I grew into my own consulting business. I am also a multi-disciplinary visual artist. My mediums are collages, oil pastels, and watercolor. On a larger scale, I do installation artwork, such as murals or event-specific displays and exhibits. Regardless of the scope, my inspiration is always rooted in humanity. When I get an opportunity to intertwine my professional and private endeavors, it’s the blending of my heart and mind. For example, I have used original watercolor art as a featured background within a campaign design that yielded digital and print media. These fully original art + design projects are fully me, representing my creative passions and my technical skills.
